After over six weeks of occupying New York’s financial district, participants in the Occupy Wall Street movement continue to protest corporate what they consider to be greed, increasing poverty and inequality, and a broken democratic system. Despite the snow storm which hit the northeast Sat., Oct. 30, participants in Occupy Wall Street spent Sunday morning, hanging clothes to dry, re-configuring their gear, and continued to protest. KINDERHOOK The Columbia County Historical Society offers an opportunity to tour Eastfield Village, consisting of more than 20 buildings built between 1787 and 1840 and brought to the site.
